CGA works with partners and stakeholders to provide services to its various members
Training and Consultancy
CGA recognizes that our members have to be informed and keep up with the latest technologies that will help their farming enterprises. CGA collaborates with a variety of private and public partners to ensure that smallholders and their organizations can access inputs, as well as improved farming technologies and tools in order to increase crop yields.
CGA also collaborates with private sector actors to support farmers’ access to improved technologies and tools for their sustainable farming business.
Policy and advocacy
CGA continuously engages the Government in ensuring that we have favourable and sustainable agricultural policies. Currently CGA sits in a multi stakeholder Technical Working Group (TWG) committee constituted by the Principal Secretary, State Department of Agriculture in March 2016. The committee seeks to review and put in place long term measures to address the challenges that face production and marketing of cereals in the country.
CGA facilitates transfer of new technologies through on-farm activities. The forum provides farmers with an opportunity to learn and see new technologies that would ultimately increase their productivity. The Field days also provide companies an opportunity to network and market their products and services to the farmers. To participate in the field days please contact Sammy firstname.lastname@example.org or +254 726448678
