Membership
CGA is a membership based organization with two membership categories;
i. Farmer membership category
This category is divided into individual membership and group membership.
ii. Associate membership category
Membership under this category is classified as large companies and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) which is defined by their registration status and geographic coverage.

Farmer representation in policy advocacy and joint lobbying actions on key issues affecting Cereal Farmers – CGA continuously engages the Government in evidence-based advocacy to ensure formulation and implementation of agricultural policies that favor cereal farmers.
Priority in beneficiary selection – CGA works with development partners to implement projects within the cereal sub-sector. We give priority to our registered farmer members at group level who enjoy varying project benefits.
Access to farmer training fora – we facilitate the training of our farmer member groups to build their capacities to engage other players in their respective value chains
Linkage to Output Marketing – we train and facilitate farmers to undertake aggregation and jointly market their produce
Linkage to Credit Service Providers – we train and facilitate farmers to access affordable credit through the Cereal Growers SACCO Society Ltd.
Input Procurement Services – we facilitate members to procure farm inputs in bulk thereby attracting quantity discounts and reducing chances of buying fake inputs
Easy and free access and exposure to information and new technologies related to Agriculture through:
*The Sower – A quarterly publication of CGA distributed Free of costs to our farmer members at the county level through our field officers
* Cereal Notebook – A monthly E-publication that provides key highlights within the cereal subsector.
*Field Days – Interactive & information sharing events that bring together relevant player within the agricultural sector

Linkage to our farmer members – CGA has a database of over 150,000 farmers who we mobilize and profile to facilitate group action in input procurement marketing of their produce, credit access, and in implementing our development partner funded projects.

Discounted exhibition rates at different CGA events where you are guaranteed of a large bona fide farmer turnout
